41st Supplier 1s - Bircham Newton

Brian Allan		Brian left the RAF in Feb '88 as a WO whilst at Benson. He then worked for Thame Oxon as Global Electronic Chip Distributor retiring in '03 as Director of Operations in Europe. Brian's main hobby is National Hunt horseracing with some success in syndicates since '94. Now living in Wantage, Oxon.
Dave Angood MBE		Dave left the RAF in '99 as a WO after having served 39 years! He was awarded the BEM in '80 and the MBE in '99. One of the most interesting postings was a tour in Ohio USA where he was responsible for the logistical support of the C130. He also had two tours at RAF Hereford, where he was an instructor and later the WO Supply Training. Dave is now happily retired at Coningsby village, Lincs.
Derek Beard R.I.P.		Derek was commissioned in '79 and reached the rank of Flt Lt. He was OC Supply at Cardington, but now sadly deceased.
Roger Bennett		Rodger was sighted as a Cpl at Wildenrath in '68. He left the service in '73 as a Cpl. He is now living in Wisbech, Cambs and runs a taxi co.
Roger Blow		Roger left the RAF in '73 and has since lived just south of Chicago, Illinois.
Peter Bylett		Peter left the RAF in '84 as a Sgt and is now a Careers Officer. He lives in Kidderminster, Worcs.
Corrin Carlin		Corrin left the RAF as a Cpl in '77 from Newton. He's been retired due to ill health for 10 years having worked for Severn Trent for 22 years. Corrin now lives in Long Eaton, Notts.
John Cleland		Initially posted to Watton, John left the RAF as a Cpl in '72 and now lives in Doncaster.
Bryan Cross MBE		Brian retired in '99 as a WO and is now employed in the Supply Section at RAF Stafford. Currently Deputy Mayor of Stafford.
Roy Curtis		Roy left the RAF as a FS in '85 and now lives in Tapton, near Chesterfield.
Dave Dart - recoursed to 42^nd		Dave left the RAF as a Jnr Tech in '73 and now lives in Henlow, Beds
Chris Evans		Chris left the RAF as a Jnr Tech in '68 and believed to be living in Northwick Pk, Middlesex.
Dave Gilbody		Dave left the RAF as a Sgt in '83 and is now settled in Fremington, Devon.
Bill Hanifin		Seen in Malaya around '65 and discharged as a Cpl in '73. Bill emigrated to Australia in later that year, initially to Qld and WA, before settling in Flemington, Victoria.
*Dennis Hayden*		Dennis left the RAF as a Cpl in '74 and now lives in Lyndney, Glos.
Patrick Hirst - recoursed to 42^nd		After leaving Bircham Patrick saw service at Stafford (62-65), Butterworth(65-67), Fairford & Abingdon(68-70), Muharraq (71) and Brize Norton (72-73). He remustered to Movs Cont and left the RAF as an SAC in '73. He then worked in Civil Aviation at Gatwick and by '95 had joined his wife's company until they sold their interest. They now run a riding stable near East Grinstead, Sussex.
Colin Hodnett		Colin was discharged in Dec '84 as a Sgt to live in Swinton near Manchester.
Brian Hopper R.I.P.		Brian is sadly deceased.
Bill Jefferson		Bill retired in '83 as a Sgt and is now living in Haxby, Yorkshire.
Alistair King		Al remustered to Movs Cont before leaving the RAF as a Jnr Tech in Apr '73 to live in Thornhill, Stirling.
Dave King		Dave was initially posted to Feltwell and then in '64 to West Raynham on the Kestral Evaluation Squadron. Promoted to Cpl in '66 he was posted to Muharraq and on tourex to Watton as NCO i/c R&D. He left the mob in '68 as a Jnr Tech and worked in textiles and central heating before joining the Touring Caravan industry in '75 to the present day. Dave now lives near Lakenheath, Suffolk.
Mike Lucas		Mike left the mob as a Cpl in '73 and now lives in Aubdurn, Lincs.
Patrick Martin		Patrick left the RAF as an SAC in '68 and now lives in South Shields, Tyne & Wear.
Roger Milsom		Roger left the RAF as a Cpl in '73 to live near Walsall, Staffs.
Colin Molyneux		Colin was initially posted to Valley; not sighted since.
Phil Oakley		Phil left the mob as a Cpl in '73 to live in Emsworth, Hants.
Mick Oakshott		Mick left the RAF as a Cpl in '74 and trained as a primary school teacher in Devon before retiring as a headmaster in '03. Now living in 'Betracq, SW France.
Bob 'Sparky' Parnell		Sparky is now living in Bath, Somerset.
Barry Peake		Barry left the RAF as a Sgt in '83 and is now living in Goodwick, Pembrokeshire
Bryan 'Titch' Salter		Bryan is now living in Ruthin, Denbighshire.
Des Skinner		Des served at Benson, TSR2 Project and Maralinga/Edinburgh Field before starting training as a Nav in the late '60s. Converted to Andovers at Abingdon, Thorney Is and Muharraq. Later did tours as an Instructor and as Command Examiner before leaving the RAF as a Sqn Ldr in '76. Initially settled in York and in '81 emigrated to Beresfield, NSW and ended up as Material Director for an international mining co. Retired since '01 Des is a Board Member of Bowls Australia.
Ray Smith		Ray is now living near York.
Ken West		Ken is now living in Wigton, Cumbria
Dave White		Left the RAF in '77 as a Cpl after stints at Valley, Kuching, El Adem and Odiham and joined Dan Air and is currently working for ATC Lasham. Dave is now living in Tadley, Hants.
Norman Wood		Norman remustered to Movs Cont and left the RAF as a Cpl in '74. He is now living in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
Mick Yeo		Mick left the RAF as a Cpl in '69 and worked in the City until retiring in '06 to Gt. Tey, Essex.
